About

I’m a backend engineer. Mostly C# and .NET, for about 12 years now.

What I enjoy is building systems that hold up under load, and then keeping them that way. There is no universal recipe: every system gets its own set of trade-offs, and choosing them is the interesting part.

Right now I work on the backend of a gaming platform: microservices on Kubernetes talking through Kafka and RabbitMQ, MongoDB and ClickHouse underneath. I also do my share of on-call, so I care a lot about logs and dashboards.

Outside of work I build things I need myself. The biggest one is WordCapture, an app for learning Spanish words, running on a small Kubernetes cluster I set up on Hetzner.

I live in Barcelona.
